Batata Vada

Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 30 minutes Makes ~4 to 6 people.

INGREDIENTS:  For Magic Red sauce

  • 4 Boil potato
  • Gingergarlic mashedi tsp
  • ½ tsp chillypowder
  • 2 green chilly
  • Slat as per taste
  • 2 cup of Gram flour
  • Wateras perneed
  • Salt as per taste

Oil to fry.

Preparation

 

  1. Mashed the potato and add all powder spices.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste.
  3. Make small bolls.
  4. Take gram flour and add salt and add water, consistency should not be too thick nor thin.
  5. Add chilly if you want to make spicy vada.
  6. In a kadhai or thick bottomed pan, heat oil.
  7. Check heat by adding little paste.
  8. Now add potato balls in batter and put in hot oil .
  9. Cook on low heat till gets little brown
  10. Take out from oil and eat with chutney.
