Kheer ( Rice Pudding )

Preparation time: 15 mins: Cooking time 30 mins TOTAL TIME 45 mins

INGREDIENTS:  

  • 1 kg milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ rice soak in water for 10 min.
  • 5 threads of saffron soak in milk or water
  • Cashew and resins as per choice
  • Cardamom powder ½ tsp

Preparation

  1. Heat the milk in a thick bottom pan.
  2. Once milk starats boil add soaked rice.
  3. Add saffron threads.
  4. Once rice starts semi cokk add cashew and resins.
  5. Add cardamom powder.
  6. Once rice is completely cooked add cardamompowder.
  7. Kheer is ready.
